Payment Policy
Effective date: Oct. 15, 2026
This page is for buyers about to pay for a ChantMantras order, and it sets out which methods work, when the charge happens and what follows a failed payment.
Checkout accepts PayPal and four card networks
Checkout offers two choices.
Choosing PayPal opens a PayPal window, where the money can come from the PayPal balance, from a bank tied to the PayPal account or from a card already saved there. Card payments go through a payment gateway service to Stripe, which takes Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover cards, whether credit or debit, at the same price as PayPal.
Checks, wires and wallets are not accepted
Everything else is turned away.
That list covers Apple Pay, Google Pay, personal checks, wire transfers, cash on delivery, cryptocurrency, gift cards and store credit lines. PayPal sometimes offers to split a payment into installments inside its window; that plan is an arrangement between the buyer and PayPal.
Five logos mark the accepted methods
The logos are a quick check.
PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover appear in the footer and at checkout, and a method whose logo is missing from that row cannot be used.
No card or processing fee is charged
ChantMantras adds no surcharge for paying by card.
Card fees, processing fees and handling fees are all absent from the order total. A bank outside the United States may still apply its own currency conversion charge, which ChantMantras neither sets nor receives.
The order total is final at checkout
The last checkout screen is the bill.
It lists the dresses, shipping ($6.60, or free from $129), any discount and the sales tax, and no amount is added once the buyer presses the payment button.
Order total: the figure on that last screen.
A single $51.99 dress, for instance, comes to $58.59 with shipping, before tax.
Sales tax appears as its own line
Tax is shown apart from the dresses.
Checkout works it out from the delivery address, and prices on the listings do not include it. Duties are a different matter: the sender pays them before the parcel reaches the United States, so they never reach the checkout screen.
Prices are in US dollars
All prices are in US dollars (USD).
ChantMantras converts nothing and charges no currency fee.
Payment is taken when the order is placed
Payment is taken in full when the order is placed.
No second charge comes later, not when the parcel ships out and not when it arrives.
A confirmation email follows within minutes
The confirmation email carries the order number.
It normally arrives a few minutes after payment, so a missing one is worth a look in the spam folder before the support team hears about it.
Card numbers never reach ChantMantras’ servers
Card details stay with the processors.
A card number is typed into the payment gateway’s card form, and a PayPal login happens on PayPal’s own pages. What ChantMantras receives is the result of the payment and the last four digits of the card, and every page of chantmantras.com is served over HTTPS.
Billing addresses can be outside the US
Card issuers compare the billing address with their own records.
Type it exactly as the bank or PayPal has it on file. A billing address in another country works, because the delivery area rule applies to the shipping address alone.
Some orders are held for a short check
A few orders pause before packing.
Fraud screening can stop an order before it reaches the partner, and the support team then writes within 1 business day, often to confirm the billing address. Silence for 3 business days cancels the order, and the payment goes back in full.
Declined cards can leave a temporary hold
A decline can still leave a pending amount on the card.
That amount is a hold, not a charge. Banks usually release it within 3 to 5 business days.
A failed payment creates no order
No payment, no order.
A failed attempt places nothing and ships nothing. Try the card once more, pay with PayPal instead or call the bank behind the card.
One discount code fits each order
Codes go in before payment.
When a code is running, each order takes one, and after payment the discount on that order is locked.
Obvious pricing errors are corrected before shipping
Mistakes in a listing do happen.
If a dress is bought at a price that is plainly wrong, the support team writes before it ships out. Paying the corrected price or getting a full refund is then the buyer’s decision.
Billing disputes start with the support team
A chargeback is rarely the fastest route.
Most billing worries, a double hold or a refund that has not shown up yet, are cleared in a single reply, and replies come within 1 business day. Writing to the support team first leaves every right the buyer has with the card issuer intact.
Statements show the processor’s merchant name
Bank statements can look unfamiliar.
Payment processors choose the descriptor printed on a statement, and banks sometimes cut it short. Comparing the amount and the date with the confirmation email usually identifies the charge; if it does not, the support team can confirm it.
Billing data is covered by the Privacy Policy
Billing details have their own rules.
Which payment companies see them, and how long the records are kept, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
The support team answers payment questions
Payment questions reach the support team at contact@chantmantras.com or +1 (912) 559-0517, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM ET, with an answer within 1 business day, and the Refund and Returns Policy covers refund timing.
